All inPlay: In Their Own Words

Not sure what All inPlay is really all about? Below you'll find some emails we've received over the years from people who wanted to tell us what All inPlay has meant to them. Except for the first entry, you'll notice the player's All inPlay nickname preceeds each quote.

Curtis Chong, Former Director of technology, National Federation of the Blind

You play against other people who are sitting at this virtual poker table on the Internet, and the software does not care - the players do not care - who is blind and who is sighted.

One thing i'd very much like to add is that I've made a number of friends and increased my contacts with people from all over the world. All inPlay has truly brought a new and pleasant meaning to the term Global village, and if poker was to be used as a yard stick to measure the success of building a community, Then I say let there be more of such games. Congratulations to all at All inPlay. it's not a great job, it's a fantabulous one, make no mistake. Cheers!

My deepest appreciation goes out to the All in play web site. I have found my pot of gold here amongst your subscribers. I have fallen deeply in love with a very special man whom I met while trying my luck at cards. I know that I am the biggest winner by far from this site. I not only won the most valuable prize, but lost my heart to a much deserving gentleman. I gambled on love and came out a winner...smile

I'm 70 years old, have been blind for many years now. I used to be pretty bored and alone inside my house. Now, at a moment's notice, I can hop online and play with my new friends all over the world, any time of day or night.

I am a diabetic and wanted to tell you how wonderful it is to have a sight like All In Play. They have offered me a way to play Texas Hold'em, Five Card Draw Poker and Crazy 8s. Since developing diabetes I suffer from Neuropathy in my hands, which has caused me not to be able to read Braille on Playing Cards and other things. This site has given me the opportunity to play these games via my screenreader. The games are wonderful, but most of all the community is more of a blessing. I have met many people who are caring and fun to be with. We have had tons of fun at the tables. As a matter of fact when my husband died this last December they were so supportive and have helped me move on with my life. I'm truly appreciative of having met these folks.

I've been playing AllInPlay's games since they started. The games are all well thought out, lots of fun, challenging, and most of all have introduced me to people from all over the world. The community of people I've met is probably the best part of why I've stayed with AllInPlay. I've made friends here for life. Thanks to everyone at AllInPlay for everything!

If you like poker and want to PLAY poker rather than spend a long time learning a new computer interface this is your game. Intuitive controls and easy to interpret screen means you'll be playing poker in a few minutes just as if your buddy dealt the cards.

thanks for making this game accessible for everyone, I'm not blind but on the other side of the boat I am sighted. I wanted something that I can play as well as my husband could. He had other accessible games but I couldn't play his games, and he could not play mine either. Now I can talk and play with other people. I'm happy with the games. It gives me something to do instead of being bored.

"I am a sighted person who loves playing poker online. I've played a lot of the games out there, and I tell you, accessible or not, yours is the best I've ever played!"

The one computer game I keep coming back to is Poker by All In Play. The only game I have seen that is in the same league is the new Holdem Poker from the same team.
