Details
Round 1: Qualifying Round (members only)
The qualifying round starts on Friday, December 31st, at Noon US Eastern Time (9:00
A.M. US Pacific, 1700 GMT) and continues for twenty-four hours.
Each player starts with 100,000 "pies". There are some great doorprizes available in this round, including a 25,000 chip prize! To be eligible for a doorprize players must finish the qualifying round with at least 50,000 pies.
Round 2: Semifinals (members only)
The semifinal rounds start on Saturday, January 1st, at 12:30 PM US Eastern Time (9:30
A.M. US Pacific, 1730 GMT). Please note this allows a 30-minute break between the qualifying round's ending and the beginning of this round. The semifinals round is open to any player who finishes the qualifying round with at least 110,000 pies. All the tables in this round have a minimum limit of 110,000 pies, so be sure if you fall below 110,000 to stay on your table until you get back up to 110,000. There are some great doorprizes available in this round, including a 50,000 chip prize! To be eligible for a doorprize players must finish the qualifying round with at least 100,000 pies.
Round 3: The
Finals (members only)
The top four paying members from the semifinals round will go on to the Finals. The finals will take place January 2nd at 1:00 PM US Eastern Time (10:00 AM US Pacific, 1800 GMT) (allows a half-hour break after the semifinals). The
finalists will be emailed by All inPlay cofounder
Paul G. Silva with the special URL to the private server where they will play under All
inPlay "Classic" rules for Poker Tournaments.
Here's how the classic rules work...
* The game starts off with all players (and the observer, Paul) sitting at a special, private table.
*
Each player begins the tournament with 1,000,000 pies.
*
This table's betting rules are *no limit*, meaning players can bet as much as they like!
* Finalists play for 80 minutes before getting a warning from the observer. They then play 15 more hands.
* At the end of the 15th hand, the Observer will record the relative chip-ranking of the players.
*AND* the
game's progress will be broadcast live online so anyone interested
can listen in <smile>.
All finalists will
be invited to the finals via email (via the address they have
registered with their All inPlay account). Those who do not
accept the invitation by the deadline indicated in the email
will not be able to participate in the finals. Their spot
will be offered to the next highest scoring paying member
from the semifinals round. It is the Finalist's responsibility
to make sure that their computers and Internet connections
are functioning properly so that they may participate in the
Finals - the moderator of the finals will *not* wait for late
players. Players who disconnect from the finals match must, sadly, be disqualified to ensure a fair game for all other players.
Prizes
The Basket:
There will be a "basket 'o goodies" provided by the Friends of summer love. This basket includes at least ten prizes: a DVD Player, wireless keyboard & headphones, 4 accessible games (winner gets a gift certificate to an store selling the games), 4 x three month memberships, and several other prizes to-be-disclosed by the sponsor at a later date.
The top ranked player will get first pick from the basket. The second place player will get second pick from the basket. And so on for as many players as there are items in the basket
Doorprizes for Round 1:
* The Big Prize: 25,000 chips (To be eligible a player must participate in the round *and* finish the round with at least 50,000 pies)
* Get-Out-Of-The-Gutter 1: 5,000 chips (To be eligible a player must participate in the round *and* finish the round with at least 50,000 pies *and* have less than 10,000 chips on the main server)
* Get-Out-Of-The-Gutter 2: 5,000 chips (To be eligible a player must participate in the round *and* finish the round with at least 50,000 pies *and* have less than 10,000 chips on the main server)
* Get-Out-Of-The-Gutter 3: 5,000 chips (To be eligible a player must participate in the round *and* finish the round with at least 50,000 pies *and* have less than 10,000 chips on the main server)
Doorprizes for Round 2:
* The HUGE Prize: 50,000 chips (To be eligible a player must have a final score of at least 100,000 pies)

Rules & Legal
Stuff:
All inPlay actively monitors tournaments, logs all chat and betting, and immediately removes and/or disqualifies anyone found cheating or being disruptive.
* There is no fee to participate in the tournament and it
is open to all paying members.
* Members with gift memberships, or memberships sponsored by All inPlay are considered paying members.
* Each All inPlay account that is paid up may participate and be used by whomever the account owner wishes.
* Players found receiving, giving, or keeping large "donations" of
chips from other players will be removed from the tournament by All inPlay.
* This tournament is void where prohibited.
* Employees and the families of employees of the Sponsors and
All inPlay are not eligible for prizes (but are allowed to participate in the event).
* All decisions by All inPlay and the Sponsors concerning prize distribution are final.
* All decisions by All inPlay concerning removal of players believed to be cheating or disrupting the game are final.
* All those who participate in the tournament agree that All inPlay has permission
to share the player's contact information with the prize
sponsors (otherwise you can't get your prizes!)
