Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About Tournaments

Q) Does this tournament use real money or play money?

A) All inPlay Poker strictly uses fake poker chips, no real money changes hands - this is just for fun. Of course, if you ammas the most fake chips, you can still win any of the many cool *real* prizes <smile>.

Q) How do I sign up for the Tournament?

A) All inPlay doesn't like making people fill out unnecessary forms, so all existing All inPlay members are automatically signed up for the tournament. If you have not yet created an account on All inPlay, then you'll need to create a free account and get the game. Please note, however, that you do need to have a valid email address in order to play in the tournament. If you don't have a valid email address and you win, we have no way to reach you! If you have not validated your email, then you will be asked to when you try to join the tournament. If you already have an All inPlay account and would like to validate your email address now, you can do so on the my account page.

Q) The tournament lasts a while; do I need to play for the whole time?

A) Not at all! We have the tournaments run for such a long time so that people in all time zones have a fair chance at a convenient time for them to play, but you can play as much (or as little) as you like. When you leave a tournament table, your tournament chips are placed in a special virtual vault and kept safe until you need them again. This allows you to hop from table to table or take a several-hour break (naps are highly recommended! <smile>) and still have your winnings waiting for you when you come back.

Q) Where will the tournament take place?

A) This tournament will take place on All inPlay's Tournament server. Once the event begins, a link will appear at the top of this page that will take you there. Please note that the link won't let you into the server until the event has begun. Also, links will appear in the *news* section of the All inPlay main website.

Q) Are the tournament tables different from the normal tables?

A) Yes! Tournaments often have very different betting rules, and usually there are fewer table types. And remember that tournaments use special tournament chips/points. These are in no way related to the chips/points used at All inPlay's non-tournament server. Any tourney chips you win or lose have no effect on your normal account's chip total.
