Changing Game Options
You can change your game options by clicking on the
"Change Game Options" link on the Play! page.
You can change the following settings:
- Verbosity--Choose "Expert" or "Beginner."
The Beginner mode reads more prompts and instructions to the player. The Expert
mode is for players who are used to All inPlay Poker and who would like to play
a quicker game.
- Text-to-speech technology--Choose either JAWS,
Microsoft SAPI4, Microsoft SAPI5, or "No spoken prompts." Be sure
that you shut off any other screen reader.
- Echo keystrokes in chat mode--You can choose whether
or not you want to hear each keystroke as you type.
- Text-to-speech rate--If you are using SAPI4 or
SAPI5 to voice the game, you can raise or lower the speech rate of the game.
If you use JAWS or Window-Eyes, you must change the settings for those programs.
- Sound effects: You can turn the sound effects
of the game, such as the clatter of coins, on or off
- Sound effects volume--You can set the general
volume of the game from 1 (very quiet) to 11 (loud).
- Background audio volume--Changes the volume of
the background audio, such as the crowd murmuring.
- Game status audio volume--Changes the volume of
the text-to-speech.
