All inPlay Blackjack: Free Open Beta
Welcome to the All inPlay blackjack free open beta! The beta is playable free of charge for the duration of the beta process. We thank you for participating. With your help, we're going to make blackjack the best it can be. From this beta info page, you can learn about blackjack, subscribe to the beta group, and play the game! Before that, though, let's explain about beta software.
What Does Beta Mean?
If you participate in this
beta test, you will be working with an UNFINISHED and INCOMPLETE
product. Problems can and will occur. All inPlay makes no warranties
of any kind in regard to any aspect of the beta. According to our testing
to date, the beta is functional and has no major problems; however, your experience
may be different. We certainly don't expect any catastrophic problems, but we
want you to be aware of the possibility. Changes to the software, tables, and chips will be made as needed. You chip count may be reset at anytime to facilitate testing. We strongly recommend that if you are
at all uncomfortable playing an unfinished game that you wait until it is finished.
Things to Keep in Mind
Here are the things we're still working on.
- Sounds: The sounds are finished, but tweaks may be made here and there based on
community feedback.
- Scripts and Sets:
We've done our best to integrate blackjack thoroughly with System Access, Jaws
and Window-eyes. We'll be making sure that no problems crop up in this area. If
you don't use these programs, we want to insure that you have an equal
experience.
- Everything Else: Inevitably, things will come up that we never expected. That's
what makes this fun! Furthermore, we want to encourage your feedback on every aspect
of the game.
Join the Beta Group
If you'd like to be a part of the beta testing team, we require that you join the beta group. We'll post announcements to the group when we release a new beta version. We'll also post any questions we have for you on particular aspects of the game. This is also where you will give us feedback and report problems with the game, as well as discuss it with other beta testers. This group will be the one place to discuss everything blackjack and only things blackjack. To join, just send a blank email to allinplay-beta-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
Once you join, you will receive an email providing further info about the group.
Leaving Feedback and Reporting Bugs
When you leave us feedback about blackjack, it's important to be as detailed as possible. If you come across a bug or something that doesn't seem right when playing, the first thing to do is type the following in the chat window:

Note the number sign before bug. And include a brief description of the bug. Once you do that, press ctrl+c. This will copy everything that's gone on during your game session to the clipboard.
When you report the problem, please paste the contents of your clipboard into the email you send.
In the email, please tell us:
- Your Windows version
- The version of Internet Explorer you're using
- What type of internet connection you have (dial up, dsl, cable, etc)
- The name and version of any security software you have installed
- Whether you're using a router to connect to the internet
- What you were doing when the problem occurred
- Any other details you think would be helpful
This will allow us to track down the problem much quicker and save time for everyone. If you're giving a suggestion, the more detail you give, the better. Tell us your reasons for making the suggestion. That way everyone's on the same page.
