About Ask All inPlay Events

This is a time we have set up for All inPlay Members, Free Trial Users, and those curious to get a chance to talk directly with us. A member of the All inPlay team (usually cofounder Paul Silva), hops into a voice-chat room and anyone interested can ask any question they have about All inPlay. *SOMETIMES*, we like to make special announcements at these sessions that are later emailed to the community <smile>.

If you'd like to participate, here's what to do. First you'll want to tune in during the event so you can hear what's going on. You can do this one of two ways, you can either join a voice-chat session hosted at For-The-People (known by the abbreviation FTP) or you can listen to a live stream provided by WBBY. Please note that For-The-People and WBBY are *not* owned by All inPlay, they are completely separate organizations that generously donate their services so All inPlay members can have this special event. If you bump into any of the administrators of these two wonderful organizations, please consider giving them a thank-you for their generous donation.

To listen in via FTP you'll need to be a member of FTP, a wonderful nonprofit that provides a free voice-chat community for blind and sighted alike. To become a member, just follow the instructions listed on the FTP website. To listen in via the live stream from WBBY, just look for a link that will appear on the Play pages once the Ask All inPlay event has started.

We recommend that you try connecting to FTP and/or WBBY several days in advance of the actual event so you can make sure that your audio software is properly configured. This allows you plenty of time to troubleshoot with the FTP/WBBY technical support people should any problems arise.

Once the event begins and you are tuned into the audio stream, you'll next want to send the All inPlay host your questions, the best way to do this is to send the us an Instant Message. We can be reached via MSN Messenger at "support@allinplay.com", and via AOL Instant Messenger at "AllInPlaySupport".

Ask All inPlay events are announced in advance via the News and Events Calendar and via an email to the community and announcement mailing lists.
